Damsel support
Help with Damsel's voice studio, audio projects and Apple Watch recording player. For a question or problem, email contact@yannberton.com or use the support form below. No account is needed to send a message.
Create a voice and a recording
- Open Voices and add a voice. Record a sample or import audio you own or have permission to use.
- Review and correct the transcript. Add a name, optional portrait and notes, then save.
- Open the voice, write a short passage and choose Generate. Keep the app open while preparation and generation progress.
- Play the completed recording. Find saved results in Recordings and use the available share or WAV export action.
You can import a recording if you decline microphone permission. Spoken Live input needs microphone permission and Apple's on-device speech recognition files for the chosen language; these may need downloading. Change system permissions in your device's privacy settings.
Models, connection and storage
The studio requires iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 or visionOS 27 and a compatible device. Mac generation requires Apple silicon. The mobile studio uses Fast. Mac starts with Instant.
On iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro, Fast is the available model. Mac offers Instant, Fast and Pro Accurate. Open Voice quality on Mac to see its supported choices and their download state.
Initial mobile model content occupies about 2.65 GB including its compatibility predictor; Mac Instant about 1.98 GB. Additional Mac Fast is about 2.43 GB and Accurate about 8.41 GB. Installation, extraction and generation need additional free space. These are model-content sizes, not promised transfer sizes or total device-space requirements.
On Mac, choose Download for an additional model, wait for Downloading and Checking model to finish, then select the ready quality. Downloading does not automatically switch the current quality. Cancel pauses an active download; a failed download offers a retry action. Check your connection and storage before retrying.
After the selected model and reference audio are available locally, speech generation runs on device. New downloads and iCloud synchronization still need a connection. The first generation may take time to prepare the model; timing depends on your device, model and text. Progress is shown, and cancellation is offered when the current stage supports it. A failed or cancelled attempt is not a completed recording.
Free use and Damsel Pro
Free use provides three successful speech generations per device each calendar day. Failed or cancelled generations return their reserved slot. Counts are local to each device and are shared by the studio and spoken Live replies. Moving the device clock backward does not restore used slots.
Pro provides unlimited generation, the full composition editor, script generation and Accurate on Mac. It is offered as monthly or annual subscription or a separate one-time lifetime unlock. The purchase screen shows your storefront's actual price, billing period and trial eligibility.
An eligible subscription can include one month free where Apple offers the introductory trial, then renews at the displayed price unless cancelled. Changing between monthly and annual does not automatically grant another trial. Lifetime has no trial.
If access is missing, use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account that made the purchase. Do not send your account password or verification codes to support. Unlocking access does not remove model-download and verification requirements.
Manage recurring subscriptions through Apple's subscription controls. Removing Damsel does not cancel a subscription. Buying lifetime does not automatically cancel an existing subscription. Use Apple's subscription help or Apple's refund service for the applicable billing process.
Live and your iCloud library
Live requires Apple Intelligence enabled and available for the device and language. Damsel displays the reason when the conversation service is unavailable. The separate voice studio uses its available voice model to generate from written text.
Sign devices into the same iCloud account to synchronize your private library. Check Cloud Sync for availability, pending audio or errors. A name can appear before its audio arrives; allow the transfer to finish rather than repeatedly deleting and recreating the item. The local studio remains usable when iCloud is unavailable.
Compose, export and Apple Watch
With Pro, open Compose, create a composition and add audio, a saved recording, a generated line or a script. Review speaker assignments before generating a script. Trim, split and move clips, play the mix, then export WAV.
The Watch companion plays existing recordings. Refresh the library, download a recording, and use play or pause and ten-second skips. Downloaded audio can play offline. Remove download removes only the watch's copy. Voice creation, speech generation and composition happen in the studio apps.
Deletion and privacy
Use each library item's delete action to remove it. iCloud deletion may take time to synchronize. Audio used by a composition, local drafts, exported files and system backups can have separate lifetimes. Removing the app does not establish deletion of the private iCloud library. Read the Damsel privacy policy for these distinctions and privacy-request contacts.
What to include in a support request
Include your device, OS version, Damsel version and build from Settings, selected voice quality, exact displayed error and steps that reproduce the problem. Say whether it concerns generation, a download, synchronization or purchase access. Send a short authorized sample only if needed and you choose to share it; no private recording is required for an initial request.
The form stores your message in the private administrator inbox and does not send an automatic email confirmation. Website and email support-data handling is described in the website privacy notice. Privacy requests can be sent to privacy@yannberton.com. No response-time or resolution guarantee is made.
